Being There
24/03 - 25/04/2026
"Everyday is dominated by two kinds of repetition: linear repetition which adheres to the supposedly rational process of commercial production; and cyclical repetition, which dominates in nature, and includes nights and days, seasons and harvests, activity and rest, hunger and satisfaction, desire and its fulfilment, life and death."
- Henri Lefebvre
Within loops of time. Ruptures form.
I just can’t get Joan Didion out of my head, the ordinary instant, "Life changes fast, life changes in the instant."
I had to go, I had to be there. I am afraid, like everyone, of moving. Because it means to change. To change means to lose, to find, to begin again. Anew. A new person, a new stranger gets formed. Day by day, little by little I start to form again, to take root. Suddenly I will find myself once again in the same place I had been before with that old form, meeting each other like old friends. Both growing within me. Maybe I shall begin to understand, or maybe I will never understand.
I FOUND A HOLE OR IS IT A WHOLE?
I can’t tell, I’m confused by its form.
